July 23, 2009 - PRLog -- When R&D engineer Marshall Barnes heard that the Endeavour Space Shuttle crew told a boy through Youtube that no one knows what would happen if you fly into a black hole, he was shocked. So he decided to blog about it and answer the question himself. The topic of black holes and their potential for being transversable gateways to other worlds had intrigued Marshall back in the early 1990s. It even led him to do some research into black holes, resulting in some original and documentable conclusions. That's why he felt compelled to do an entire article on his new blog at Tedtalks.com, using his style of embedded links and active videos to create an informative and entertaining commentary on black holes and the state of advanced concept science and technology research.

Marshall has a long and established history of being on the cutting edge of whatever field he's involved in at the time. Recently it was revealed that his background in beyond state-of-the-art entertainment technology and techniques, for video and music production, nearly got him a liaison with the late Michael Jackson but it was interrupted by the Martin Bashir interview for ABC and the problems for Jackson that ensued. There was a plan on Marshall's part to eventually pursue the business relationship but Jackson's untimely death ended that possibility.

Marshall has been heavily involved with the physics and nature of time and has a book proposal being shopped by the Jeff Herman Agency for the ultimate book on the subject of time and the actual prospects for realistic time travel. He currently has a deal pending with Lightworks Audio and Video for a CD/DVD documentary package concerning his adventures in research topics involving parallel universes, spacetime engineering, temporal mechanics and similar topics. The projects include appearances by such notable physicists as Fred Alan Wolf and  Ronald Mallett as well as rock celebrities such Todd Rundgren and Pete Way. Eugene Roddenberry, son of Star Trek creator Gene Roddenberry, also appears in both.

Marshall's in-depth response to the British boy's question, about what would happen if you were to fly into a black hole, reflects an awareness and comprehension of the issues that is beyond the status quo. It includes many links to NASA sites and other educational connections, resulting in a multimedia document that leaves no doubt that if the crew of the Space Shuttle Endeavour thinks that no one can answer the question, Marshall Barnes certainly can.
