Supermodel Lindi Lauren Miss Golden State 2008 goes “Green” with Red Dirt Hawaii’s new line of “Eco Shirts”. Lindi believes we all should make an effort to protect the planet. She has chosen to team up with Paradise Sportswear the home of the “Original Red Dirt Shirt”. Their line of Eco Shirts are dyed with the powerful staining Red Dirt that Kauai is famous for. This “Eco Friendly” sportswear uses none of the harsh and environmentally hazardous dyes used in conventional T-Shirts and sportswear. Lindi says these earth friendly products are something she can really get behind and support. She believes we all should be concerned with saving the earth and even small steps made by everyone will turn around the environmental disaster we are all facing. Lindi says that by supporting such “Green” companies as Red Dirt Hawaii and other natural and organic product producers we can have a big influence on large corporations and encourage them to also think “Green”.
Lindi loves her naturally dyed Red shirts and loves to say “I am going green in my Red Dirt wear”. Being sort of a cow girl her favorite line is the Red Dirt “Upcountry Gear”. This “Extreme Hardwar” as she likes to say is not only earth friendly in the manufacturing process but she can kick around on her ranch without worrying about soiling her clothes. So not only are these shirts Eco Friendly do to the lack of caustic dyes but save the environment and energy by not requiring constant washing for just a little dirt smudge.
This Red Dirt sportswear is really something I can get into Lindi says and as you can see from the pictures she gets into it very well. Lindi likes to get down and dirty so Red Dirt is a natural fit for her. You can see all natural pure white cotton shirts being thrown in the mud at the Red Dirt factory at Port Allen Kauai. You can also check out the whole line at www.dirtshirt.com. One of Lindi’s favorite shirts says “How’s my Attitude? –call 1-808-Eat Dirt. You can often spot Lindi on her world tours and “Lindi’s Exotic Destinations”
