July 23, 2009 - PRLog -- Wines for Humanity helps charities raise funds by donating certificates for silent or live auctions; good for a 7 bottle wine tasting for up to 14 people.

Wines for Humanity conducts in-home wine tastings that educate guests about fine wines while in the process raising money for local charities.

Our certificates are a great way to raise funds at any charitable auction, which will bring in between $300 to $1,000 in immediate donations to help support their cause.

The value of this Certificate is $350 and the opening bid should be a minimum of $250.  As of April 1st, 2009, we have raised over $72,000 for the prevention of homelessness in families with children!

Wine tasting events are perfect for showers, anniversaries, birthdays; corporate team exercises, brainstorming sessions, a casual get-together, or “just because.”

Currently, Wines for Humanity is operational in 6 states: Illinois, Wisconsin, Missouri, Indiana, North Carolina, and Michigan.

Wines for Humanity is the brain child of President Anton Steinhart, who has been in the wine business for over 30 years. Before retiring, he wanted to create a company that gave back to the community in an unprecedented way -- by teaching people about wine. Always a generous person, he saw an opportunity to help less fortunate families by sharing his passion for wine.
