(West Des Moines, Iowa) University of Phoenix believes in being socially responsible participants in their communities. On Thursday evening they are committing more than their time to a community effort – they are donating a check in the amount of $1000.
Everybody Wins! Iowa is a literacy and mentoring organization dedicated to increasing children’s success in school through reading and mentoring experiences with caring volunteers. University of Phoenix – Des Moines has identified Everybody Wins! Iowa as one organization with which they want to partner to achieve that goal. The check will go to help purchase books for schools identified by Everybody Wins! Iowa.
The check will be presented Thursday, July 23, at 5:00 p.m. at University of Phoenix – Des Moines Campus located at 6600 Westown Parkway, West Des Moines.
