AORN Partnering with Cross Country Education to Produce One-day Continuing Education Seminars

Cross Country Education will host Continuing Education one-day seminar topics developed and provided by the Association of periOperative Registered Nurses.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRLog (Press Release) - Jul 22, 2009 -
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Cross Country Education, LLC (CCE) today announced that beginning Fall 2009, it will host Continuing Education one-day seminar topics developed and provided by the Association of periOperative Registered Nurses (AORN).

In an effort to provide its members with additional professional development opportunities, AORN has partnered with Cross Country Education to utilize its national promotional experience.  Cross Country Education, also committed to enhancing the patient experience by providing quality education to healthcare workers, will supplement AORNs more than 40,000 member base by promoting the AORN-provided seminars nationwide.

”The AORN Center for Nursing Practice and its team of RN educators utilize every advantage to reach perioperative professionals with the latest information on recommended practices,” said Brian Tepp, director of membership at AORN. “The classroom settings offered by CCE will be closer to their home, or facility, and present a learning environment that suits their needs more than a webinar or a multi-night conference might.”

Topics for the initial programs to be presented will include such areas as Infection Control for the Ambulatory Setting and Perioperative-related Joint Commission Updates for 2009.

“AORN and its members are a vitally important organization within the healthcare arena.  Therefore, CCE is pleased to partner with AORN in development of timely and topical continuing education programs that will ultimately appeal to a wide array of nursing professionals,” said Greg Greene, president of Cross Country Education.
