Charles Bagnall has been appointed the new Head of Product Management at IRIS NFP Solutions in a move that will ensure IRIS continues to deliver specialist products that are the most in-tune with the Not-For-Profit community.
Charles will lead the recently formed Product Management team, which makes certain that IRIS NFP Solutions develops market-lead software and services that address the ever evolving requirements of clients, the sector and new trends in technology.
Charles will help oversee an innovative Product Management process that has been rolled out across IRIS. This methodology assesses development ideas and feedback about IRIS software and services, which then feeds into product road mapping. Clients are involved early in this process within focus groups and early adopter schemes.
Charles has been working in Not-For-Profit technology, and for IRIS NFP Solutions, since 1990 when he joined as a Senior Project Manager from a background in both accountancy and IT management. Working initially with both charity and professional membership clients, he then moved into Business Development until called back into the Project Management team to work on major projects in the run up to 2000. Following this Charles progressed to be Principal Consultant, where his knowledge of both fundraising and membership made him the ideal choice to lead the IRIS Integra Fundraising project, and then on creation of the Product Management team, to become the IRIS CARE Product Manager.
Joining the IRIS NFP Solutions senior management team, this latest promotion builds on a successful career where Charles has already helped to transform the landscape for many Not-For-Profit organisations with technology.
