Employees from Auckland based Cowperthwaite Roofing Ltd have been awarded an advanced skills accreditation held by less than 10% of New Zealand’s roofing & cladding industry.
Under the expert tutelage of an international trainer, apprentice Sean Toomer-Reti, leading hand Ryan O’Shea and contracts manager Sean Brandon all successfully completed their Advanced Standing Seam Roofing & Cladding training. The trio now have endorsed skills in the following:
• Planning and setting out
• Eaves details
• Head details
• Barge details
• Penetrations
• Dormer valleys
• Window head, jamb and sill
• Joint forming and soldering
Cowperthwaite Roofing’s operations manager Geoff Silvester comments, “We understand that having a roof installed is a major commitment of finance and trust, but our clients can rest assured that our team are fully competent to see a project through from inception to completion. We strongly believe that, to offer the best service, a company must invest in its staff and keep up with the latest industry products and developments.”
This training was organised in partnership with Steel & Tube Roofing Products Ltd, manufacturers of the exclusive EuroLine profile for which Cowperthwaite Roofing are the only approved installers for the greater Auckland area.
