Arlington, Tx – Market research firm Interactive Media Strategies is expanding its coverage of the enterprise video sector with the introduction today of consulting services designed to help organizations identify, justify and define integrated enterprise video solutions as a key part of their online communications initiatives.
The new program will provide tailored consulting services that help executives to better understand how their businesses can leverage video across the organization to build competitive advantage, said IMS Research Director Steve Vonder Haar.
“Organizations with far-flung offices can work smarter and communicate more effectively if they figure out the right strategies for leveraging the power of online video in their day-to-day activities,”
Interactive Media Strategies will offer a broad suite of consulting services to clients looking for more effective approaches for integrating existing and emerging enterprise video technologies into their online business communications.

The new consulting services represent a significant expansion in the scope of market information services offered by Interactive Media Strategies, an Arlington, Texas-based research firm founded in 2002 that has focused – since its inception – on providing technology vendors information and survey data on corporate demand for online business video capabilities.
IMS has partnered with veteran industry consultant Erica Tuohy, who will manage the new program. Tuohy has been helping companies understand the value and applicability of online communications – and in particular business video – since 2000 when she left IBM to focus fully on the use of video to improve business communications with roles at Inktomi, RealNetworks, IVT and Accordent Technologies.
“Even as enterprise video continues to grow in popularity, executives still need help in sorting out the solutions that best put the technology to work,” Tuohy said. “The new IMS consulting services group will bring years of market experience that can help executives navigate the challenges that arise when implementing these advanced technologies for enhancing communications.”
As part of the service launch, IMS is partnering with Los Angeles-based Straightline Strategies, which will provide marketing and business development services in support of the consulting services group.
“In the post-YouTube era, more and more executives recognize that online video is an increasingly critical part of their business communications strategy,” said Straightline President Brian Berlin. “IMS can provide these executives the playbook they need to transform the novelty of online video into a business tool that enhances workplace efficiency.”
