WaterBoy Tank Water System
Like most good inventions the WaterBoy Tank Water System is so simple and easy that you wonder why no one thought of it earlier. It fits inside your water tank and is equipped with a float so that it draws the water from the top of your tank and automatically adjusts to changing water levels. Unlike the water at the bottom, the water at the top of the tank is oxygenated and free of the sediment and bacteria that have settled to the bottom. Consequently it smells and tastes better.
Once a water tank has been installed it is easy to ignore what may build up inside it over time: dirt, leaves, paint flakes, insects, bird or possum faeces. Most of this is deposited on the roof and is dissolved or washed into the tank when it rains. Even first flush diverter systems will not eliminate it all. This material gradually settles to the bottom of your tank and gradually decomposes depleting the water of oxygen and providing an ideal breeding ground for bacteria. Using the water from the bottom of your tank means you are ingesting large quantities of foreign matter and bacteria. It can't be good for you.
