Jul 21, 2009 – The MAR-JCC’s Camp Sol Taplin summer program concludes on August 7, however the Mini-Camps will offer continued summer fun through August 21.The 2 week programs include Field Trip Mini-Camp (grades K-5) which has an exciting itinerary planned with destinations to the Museum of Science and Planetarium, Parrot Jungle Island, Flamingo Gardens, and other popular South Florida attractions, Basketball Mini-Camp (grades 3-12) with special guest appearances from NBA and college players, and Soccer Mini-Camp & Clinic (grades K-8). The 1 week programs include Tennis Mini-Camp (ages 5 & up), Swimming Mini-Camp (grades K-8), and Theatre Camp (grades 4-9).
Additionally, these camps provide activities such as swimming, arts & crafts, field sports, games, and a Glatt Kosher lunch and snack. According to Tanya Copernik, Membership Services Director, “The mini-camp programs cater to a multitude of interests, utilizing the MAR-JCC’s outstanding outdoor and air-conditioned facilities. Due to limited space, we encourage early registration.”
