(BURLINGTON, Conn.) - A stunning Frank Lloyd Wright-influenced home on Route 69 (Milford Street) in Burlington will be sold at public auction on Saturday, Aug. 1, promptly at noon. A preview will be held from 11-12. The auction is being held jointly by Tim's, Inc., the Litchfield-based auction house, and Litchfield Real Estate Properties, LLC, brokers for the 7-room, 2-acre property.

Ms. Levine was quick to point out that this is not a distress sale or foreclosure, nor is it the result of back taxes owed. “The longtime owner is simply downsizing and moving out of state,” she said. “Otherwise, they would remain in the home as the family has since it was first built in 1950.
