David Michaelson stars as Gene in the short film DECEIT. This dramatic short focuses on three American soldiers and a young girl trapped in a fox hole during the Vietnam War. The film was produced by Suzanne DeLaurentiis and directed by Gary Brockette. Deceit also features up and coming stars Brian Hall, Robin Cho, and David Michaelson.
Born and raised on the East Coast, David Michaelson studied acting in New York City at both the esteemed Stella Adler Conservatory and the New York Film Academy. David has since moved to Los Angeles. Upon arriving in LA he enrolled in Steve Nave’s acting workshop where his talent and potential were quickly recognized. It was through Steve's acting workshop that David was introduced to Suzanne DeLaurentiis.
David was recently invited to join the Cinema City International Film Festival Mentorship Program. David has starred in performances of Hamlet, A Few Good Men, and The End of Summer. In his spare time he enjoys writing poetry and screenplays.
