VisualCalc Announces New Technology Adoption Dashboard for PublicDashboards.com

El Dorado Hills, Calif. – VisualCalc, a provider of web-based analysis software and the creator of PublicDashboards.com (www.PublicDashboards.com), today announced the introduction of the Technology Adoption Dashboard, a new free public dashboard that tracks year-by-year adoption and usage of cellular phones and the Internet in a variety of countries across the globe.

The Technology Adoption Dashboard tracks annual cell phone and Internet usage across countries on both an absolute and per-capita basis. Users can filter the data to analyze any combination of countries they are interested in comparing.

The Technology Adoption Dashboard helps highlight surprising trends and statistics associated with the cell phone and Internet adoption, such as:

• China has the most cell phone users of any country, with 335 million. China’s Macao region has the highest cell phone usage per capita, at 137 cell phones per every 100 people.

• The United States has the most Internet users: 198 million. The Netherlands has the highest Internet usage per capita, with 89 users per every 100 people.
