The global leader of comprehensive online video platforms, Ooyala Inc., today announced an expansion of its sales force to include three new industry veterans who will be responsible for driving Sales and Business Development initiatives across the U.S.
The new additions include Kevin Conlan, Sr. Sales Director, Strategic Accounts; Peter Dawidzik, Sales Director, Western Region; and Frank Bestiero, Sales Director, East Coast. Conlan comes to Ooyala from Move Networks, where he was the East Coast Vice President of Sales. Conlan has over a decade of experience in the online video industry. At Ooyala, he will be responsible for East Coast strategic sales activities, with a focus on the sports and media verticals. Peter Dawidzik brings with him a decade of online video experience, after spending over 6 years with Nine Systems, then another 3 years with Akamai Technologies (Akamai purchased Nine Systems in 2006). Dawidzik will focus on initiatives that drive revenue on the West Coast. Frank Bestiero will take on the role of East Coast Sales Director, working out of Ooyala's New York sales office. Bestiero previously served as Director of Worldwide Sales at the Feedroom, a digital media solutions company, where he executed sales strategies, globally. All three gentlemen will be reporting to Eric Morris, Vice President of Sales.
