Paws For Cause
Paws for Cause is a 501c3 non-profit organization. The annual event raises funds to provide thousands of stuffed animals, modeled after certified Therapy Dog Ziba to hospitalized, special needs, less fortunate children and seniors. Funds also support Chaplain Ministries who provide emotional and spiritual support for people enduring hardship or life crises. The program provides a message of hope and encouragement to those experiencing a personal tragedy; whether due to abuse, addiction, separation, sickness, disaster or even death.
When asked become a event sponsor, company President Joseph Lascola of California K9 Kitchen, Huntington Beach, Ca. said, “We donate a lot of product and participate in many animal charity events. The Paws For Cause event seems like a great opportunity for us to participate and show how animals and humans together can heal the spirit.”
