Twickenham rider Simon Low has been invited to race at this 2009 Thundersport GB GP3 support race on Saturday 25th July 2009. This is an honour to Simon who is fighting to save the championship after a 100 mph smash at Snetterton round.
Low, who is confident the smash at Snetterton round was just something that happens in racing, is hoping to be fit for the next round at Moto GP Donnington and is determined not to let the set-back ruin his season.
“It was frustrating because everything had been going so well, and when I watched the race on Sunday 12th July 2009 I knew I could beat the lap times the leaders were doing,” he added.
“The bike has come off better than me and is actually ready to race as it is - I think I broke its fall.
“We can’t let it hamper our season. The lap times are getting better and now we are really looking like we are getting close to a race win.”
Watch this space next weekend for the results at Donington where his main sponsors www.shop4bikers.co.uk (Securit GB Ltd) will be looking on for a excellent result.
