PRLog (Press Release) - Jul 17, 2009 -
(Tempe, Arizona, 07.17.2009) – Isos Technology announced today that it will begin offering Cloud Computing services to its customers using Amazon's Web Services™ technology.  Isos Technology will provide a range of Cloud Computing services including: Cloud Computing Basics and Best Practices sessions, ROI analysis, mirrored server instances, full production server migrations and server backup strategies.  Isos Technology's Cloud Computing is focused on providing clients with a clear understanding of the flexibility, agility, scalability and savings the solutions can provide.  Still, most organizations have not pursued the adoption of cloud computing for various reasons such as lack of time, resources or knowledge. Isos Technology believes gaining control of cloud computing has the promise to provide significant benefits and savings to businesses of all shapes and sizes.

As part of their Cloud Computing services, Isos Technology has introduced "Budget Forecasting". Budget Forecasting is a simple approach to managing client requirements and anticipating budgets for their Cloud Computing projects. Isos Technology provides their clients with multiple solution options in a transparent proposal to complete their requirements within the client's forecasted budget.  With Budget Forecasting, Isos Technology puts the client in control of their Cloud Computing efforts from the beginning.  Budget Forecasting helps to eliminate the push and pull associated with multiple proposal versions and unites the budget with project scope expectations.

Additionally, Isos Technology has moved their entire server infrastructure into the Amazon Web Services™ cloud.  All web, application and database server components have been installed and bundled in Amazon Machine Images (AMI), which can be used to create cloned instances of each migrated server.  All persistent data has been moved to Amazon's Elastic Block Storage (EBS) drives, ensuring the data is not lost if the servers are shut down.  An additional benefit is that any of these drives can be moved to new instances of the AMIs for instant scalability if the load on any of the components warrants the addition of a new instance.  The server instances are reserved instances which guarantee availability and decrease costs.  Elastic IP addresses have been associated with the new servers and registered with Isos' registrar to allow the outside world access to all of the content which was previously available from Isos.  With the new AWS configuration, Isos Technology is able to recover from potential server failers by simply creating a new server instance from their bundled AMI and then redirecting their elastic IP addresses to the new instance.  If their server were to fail for any reason, Isos Technology has the agility to recover with speed, ease and minimal downtime.

Founded in 2005, Isos Technology provides custom IT solution consulting services, staff augmentation solutions and is a participant in the Google Apps Authorized Reseller Program.   For more information about Isos Technology their services, contact Daniel Riley at 480.366.5978, by email at info@isostech.com or visit cloud.isostech.com
