Brother Rice High School Places Four on US Lacrosse All-America Team

The Brother Rice High School lacrosse team landed a state-high four players on the 2009 US Lacrosse All-America Team.

Seniors Nick Dolik (Beverly Hills), Dan Henneghan (Beverly Hills) and T.J. Yost (Bloomfield) earned repeat selections while junior Pat VanDuesen (Beverly Hills) became a first-time honoree.  This season, the quartet helped lead the Warriors to a 20-3 record, including their fifth consecutive state title this season.  

Both Dolik and Henneghan signed letters of intent earlier this year with Penn State.  Yost has committed to Quinnipiac University in Connecticut.

The high school committee of the US Lacrosse Men’s Division Coaches Council coordinates the process of selecting the U.S. Lacrosse All-America Team.  Area chairpersons for geographic regions designated by the US Lacrosse high school committee coordinate the voting.  Each region is awarded a set number of slots for the team based on the number of high school lacrosse teams in their respective areas.
