PRLog (Press Release) - Jul 16, 2009 -
TM Fleets Erica Reese from Sarasota Florida. Hector Fernandez from Tampa Florida and James (Jimmy) Stewart talk about the difference between GPS companies. GPS tracking is a competitive market. GPS tracking in the BHPH industry experiences the same market penetration as the other industries using GPS tracking. The big difference is that in the service sector or trucking sector you know right away when your product is not working.
“Unfortunately most BHPH dealers have been sold on the idea of GPS tracking as a method of last resort when vehicle goes missing”  “That is not best way to utilize GPS for BHPH” says Ms Reese. “Jimmy Stewart a TM Fleet sales representative from Orland says “That GPS technology is a true tool that can be used to validate the information on your customer’s application” “Mr. Stewart follows with “GPS can be the difference between a profitable portfolio or worthless paper. It’s pretty simple when you think about it. The more information that you collect in the first 30 days the easier the remedy will be to fixing a problem in the future.”

Having been in other industries MS Reese is still shocked by what she finds in the field. “I find customers that will not buy from me because our product might be $5.00 more in price”.” I can validate the price by showing that the customers present GPS product cannot even find a car on his own lot if it’s under a tin roof or in a garage” “ yet the $5.00 difference in price is the reason he/she will not buy from me.” Erica claims that TM fleets box is powered by Calamp.

"Calamp based in Oxnard California is by far the best GPS tracking device in the country” claims James Stewart. “Of course that’s my opinion" says James?
“Why would you use a system that has a failure rate of 5% 10% OR EVEN 40%” asks Mr. Stewart? “Hector Fernandez form TM Fleet joins in. “let me answer that James” Hector continues, “it’s easy, there are two types of BHPH dealers we come in contact with in the field, one believes they are in the used auto business the other understands that they are in the high risk world of subprime finance”

Mr. Fernandez says “the first dealer, well how do I say this any other way, He looks for the good in people and tries to sell only to the  right people who will help them regain their investment in the automobiles that he has on the street. The second BHPH dealer knows that his main priority is to reduce his risk on his or his investor’s investment in the business”

Mr. Fernandez makes a point of investigating the cheaper GPS units for failure rates and lost cars. “If you’re losing cars and that’s okay by you, then you’re in the used car business” why bother buying any GPS tracking devices if failure is a standard that you accept. If you’re looking for a system that works then TM Fleet stands by their product.
TM Fleet will only sell ISO 9000 certified units that are bench tested and certified working before they reach the customer.

They sell American made products that come with a 1 yr warranty. You can visit their site at www.tmfleet.com
