Corporate team building drumming leader Jim Greiner conducted a benefit community drum circle on June 20th, 2009 at Union Grove Music in Santa Cruz California to "drum up" funds and awareness for Jacob's Heart Children's Cancer Support Services. Jim is founder of Hands-On Drumming® (www.handsondrum.com)
Latin Percussion Instruments (LP), of Garfield, New Jersey, generously donated a Conga drum that was raffled off, with all proceeds going to Jacob's Heart. Jim is an endorser and clinician for LP, and is Head Artist of their Recreational & Community Drumming program (www.communitydrumming.com)
Sally Green, of Jacob's Heart, wrote of the event: "The Drumming Festival was a wonderful way to bring people together to build community and raise funds for Jacob's Heart Children's Cancer Support Services. Jim Greiner's energy, passion and enthusiasm bring meaning and magic to the circle. We are very grateful to LP for donating a drum to raffle for this successful event. With this team, everyone wins. Thank you!"
