2008 Tile Partners For Humanity Donations Exceeds Previous Five Years

Donations to Habitat for Humanity exceed $1.7M

PR Log (Press Release) – Jul 16, 2009 – Atlanta, GA. Tile Partners for Humanity, a partner with Habitat for Humanity International, announced today that 2008 donations exceeded $1.7M. The donations are part of a multi-year pledge to Habitat for Humanity International, and were made possible by many generous tile industry partners. The 2008 donations were more than the past five years combined, and TPFH hopes to meet or even exceed that amount in 2009.

"TPFH makes every effort to be good stewards of the donations entrusted to us, and we are very proud that over 95% of all donations received go directly to non-profit organizations and construction projects", says Lynn Labuda, Executive Director of TPFH.

Formed in 2002, TPFH is a partnership between the tile industry and Habitat for Humanity International, a nonprofit organization working to eliminate substandard housing around the world. Industry partners provide tile, setting materials, tools, floor preparation materials, cleaners and sealers, labor and installation training to Habitat affiliates interested in building with tile. TPFH is a 5013c organization that grants tax relief for donations of materials or other support for our partnership.
