Bristol-based Pukka Herbs today announced that Tesco is to stock three of its recently launched herbal teas. The supermarket has been a strong supporter of Pukka since shortly after its launch in 2001 and has contributed to the company’s significant success.
Three Mint, Three Ginger and Night Time teas have joined Pukka’s overall best seller, Detox Tea, which has been listed for four years at Tesco and was three times gold award winner at the Great Taste Awards. These three new organic herbal teas have been created by Sebastian Pole, Pukka’s herbal director and co-founder. Offering unique tastes to consumers, they are expected to achieve the same strong run rate as Detox Tea.
The company’s herbal credentials and ethical ethos means that its products are becoming increasingly popular. Distribution for Pukka Herbs’ teas is now extensive, with stockists including Sainsbury’s, Waitrose, Morrisons, Fresh & Wild, Holland & Barrett and several hundred independent health stores across the UK. Pukka also has an established and growing number of international stockists.
