Record-play is a London based music consultancy, we have been working with new musicians for over 5 years, helping them team up with brands, place their music on ads, films, games and TV. During this time we have come across some amazingly talented and original artists.
However, we have noticed that there hasn’t always been a great support system to help fledgling bands and artists hone their skills and prepare themselves, their music and their image for the industry and the public. With this in mind we set up a programme designed to support and nurture new bands and artists.
The Artist Development Programme is a no strings attached and totally independent support initiative aimed at providing essential skills and assistance to musicians in the crucial early days of trying to make it big.
The programme is not about just getting some cash or a single release but rather about working alongside some of the best names in the industry to learn first-hand how to cut through the noise and make, market music effectively and successfully.
Every six months, following a rigorous selection process, a band will be picked to join the programme, they will receive a package of resources and money worth well over £20,000. The panel of industry professionals will, over the course of time, whittle down the entries to a shortlist of five, who will be invited to a live showcase from which a winner will be selected.
