New non profit aims to change the lives of foster youth. Scottsdale Art Auction to benefit cause.

Auction will benefit foster children by offering art as a creative outlet, will bring attention to the under-served community of foster youth, and inform valley residents of how to help.

LifeUnfolded, a new non profit group
dedicated to providing artistic outlets to transitional-aged foster
youth, will hold its first big fund raising event to kick off their
fresh start in the Valley. Art Source for Design will be holding an
Art Auction for the group in its new location at 15816 N.
Greenway-Hayden Loop, Suite 400 on Saturday, August 15. Original works
of art, including paintings, photography, mixed media and more, as
well as limited and open edition framed prints will be auctioned to
benefit the local non-profit organization.

More than 200 pieces of work from renowned local, regional and
national talent will be showcased including work by Los Angeles artist
Derek David, whose work is in collections of Justin Timberlake,
Charlie Sheen and other celebrities. Featured local artists include
Joel Holsinger, Marian Crane, and Adam Hand. Local artist, and
LifeUnfolded's Music Director, "Mr. 43" (JB Snyder) will be painting
live during the event and his completed artwork will be up for auction
before the end of the evening.
Bidding for each piece will open at well below market value for all artwork.

The evening begins at 7:00pm with the silent auction and socializing
over cocktails, refreshments, and live music by local flute duo, Avira. The live auction starts
at 8:00pm. This event is free and open to the public.
