PR Log (Press Release) –
Jul 15, 2009 – Scrapbooks & Stuff, the premier scrapbooking store in Miami, has re-opened under new ownership. After Kobi Bender and Lisa Acosta closed their long-standing scrapbooking store in March 2009, scrapbookers worried that they would no longer have a place to scrapbook and shop for their scrapbooking supplies. These worries become unnecessary when Nana Campana and Vanessa Vasquez, local scrapbookers and entrepreneurs, purchased the store and re-opened it to the public on April 10, 2009.
For over 8 years, Scrapbooks & Stuff has helped Miami scrapbookers with all of their scrapbooking needs. From papers to embellishments, invitations to stickers, Scrapbooks & Stuff was the place to look for necessary supplies, excellent classes, and indispensable resources. Since re-opening, business has thrived as new product lines and classes have been brought in to the newly re-modeled store.
"The opening was great... The store looks amazing. I'm so happy for you that it was a great success. I can't wait for the other lines coming in..." says one customer. This comment has been echoed by many of the long time customers who were excited that the store was staying open and that the great products, classes, and crops would be continuing.
Although purchasing a store during an economic downturn may seem strange, Nana and Vanessa thought that keeping such a great scrapbooking resource (and one of the last remaining scrapbooking stores in Miami) was worth the risk.
