The Cincinnati YMCA Synchrogators 18/19 synchronized swimming team was crowned National Champions for the second year in a row at the 2009 Esynchro Synchronized Swimming Championships. The event is the world’s largest synchronized swimming competition and was held at the Stephen C. O'Connell Center on the campus of the University of Florida.
The Cincinnati YMCA Synchrogators also distinguished themselves in other events.
In the 16/17 trio event, the team achieved a fourth place finish. In the 18/19 trio, Cincinnati routines finished in second and fifth positions, in the 18/19 duet event Cincinnati achieved a third place and the 18/19 soloist finished in fifth place.
The Cincinnati YMCA Synchrogators are a nationally competitive synchronized swim team based in Cincinnati, Ohio sponsored by the YMCA. The team is a member of the USA Synchro organization, synchronized swimming’s governing body in the USA. The YMCA Synchrogators currently accept 45-50 synchronized swimmers each year, ranging in age from 7-18, and the team has a staff of highly qualified and caring coaches. The team offers synchronized swimming lessons and competitive programs for swimmers at all levels.
