Woodstock, GA – MicroDynamics, Inc has donated a complete 3DQC inspection microscope system (3DQC) to Clemson University’s Sonoco Institute Center for Flexible Packaging Design and Graphics The Institute (CEFPACK) supports the Graphic Communications and Packaging Sciences departments at Clemson University as well providing training, testing and research laboratory services to the flexible packaging industry.
MicroDynamics has provided CEFPACK with the 3DQC for use in measuring cell volumes on anilox printing roles and providing surface topography details on a variety of surfaces.
The 3DQC is a robust interferometric microscope that is unmatched in accuracy, speed of operation and ease of use. Ideally suited for a printing shop floor, it is also the perfect instrument for a laboratory and training facility such as the Sonoco Institute CEFPACK The 3DQC provides functions for anilox, gravure, flexo-plate, etched gravure, laser gravure and surface roughness analysis. With accuracy and repeatability of less than +/- 1%, the 3DQC provides confidence in results that is unmatched.
MicroDynamics is celebrating their tenth year of producing the most accurate measurement system for the package printing industry. MicroDynamics’
MicroDynamics provides inspection microscopes for flexographic and gravure printers and many surface roughness applications including automotive, aerospace, electronics, medical and testing/R&D labs. For more information contact John Bearden at 770-924-2770.
