aMillionJobsToDo is a bespoke and unique service opportunity that has been launched to allow users to suggest any task that they need completing, for any proposed fee, starting at as low as just £1.
Tasks can be carried out remotely or in person and the fee can be negotiated to ensure that both parties feel they are getting a good deal. All that is asked in return is that clients spread the word of the service.
The concept that was set up by Chrissi Sharkey, after becoming fixated on a house with a price tag of a million pounds and dreaming of how she could raise the money to buy it, has really started to take off over the last few days. The website is now receiving over 250 unique hits a day with job requests being emailed through heavily. Sharkey has already earnt £215 in the 3 weeks the site has been live and has accepted jobs so far this week valuing in total to approx £2000.
The idea has also generated some substantial media interest with 7 newspapers willing to publish the story and now meetings are in place to discuss possible format ideas for TV. One of the jobs negotiated this week involving a local poll and ballot box opening is already promised to be filmed by ITV.
Feedback has been very positive. Sharkey states, “I am thrilled with how the concept has been accepted by the public and grateful for the job requests that I have received so far, especially in the current economic climate. It’s been surprising how many people have contacted me just to wish me good luck and to see if they can somehow be involved. I am very excited by it all and am one step closer to reaching my goal, although I am going to be a very busy lady!”
