Raleigh, N.C. – In these tough economic times, Triad businesses are learning to get creative and reward employees with more than money thanks to free training by Capital Associated Industries, (CAI), the state’s largest employers’ association. In Recognizing Employees in Challenging Economic Times, one of many FREE classes this summer, CAI teaches businesses the increasing importance of staff morale and recognition especially when times are tough.
“Whatever you do, make sure it’s focused on attracting, motivating, and challenging your staff, and understand that not everyone is motivated by money,” says Bruce Clarke, President and CEO of CAI. “All companies have to get the best value out of their dollars now, so the question becomes what can we supplement and put in place that doesn’t break the bank”.

CAI is offering a summer of free training classes to the business community as a way of giving back to Triad businesses to make sure employers are fully prepared to handle changing workplace issues and regulations. These classes are focused on management development, human resources, professional development and computer skills.
Classes kick off with an Open House Celebration at the new CAI office July 15 from 4PM-6PM at 7817 National Service Rd., Suite 509, Greensboro, N.C. 27409. The Open House Celebration is a major networking event where member businesses can have space to exhibit materials highlighting their organization and in turn learn about other local businesses.
