Yani Tseng of the LPGA Tour regains number 1 in the World Golf Index standings after a 2 week hiatus. After losing the top spot to the LPGA’s Angela Stanford for 2 weeks, Tseng regained number one in the world on June 28th, 2009, and has held the spot for the past 3 weeks. This brings her to a total of 6 weeks at number.
After his stunning victory at the 3M Championship on the Champion’s Tour, Bernard Langer is only 2 points behind Yani Tseng. ===============================================
