Edins Kranar, one of the major crane operators in Sweden, has recently entered the Mini Crane market by investing in three Maeda Minicrawlers with 2, 3, and 4 ton capacity to complement their existing range of mobile, lorry and tower cranes. The MC285, MC305 and MC405, purchased from AB Kranlyft, offer a new market position and enable Edins to serve their customers in areas never before possible with traditional cranes.
Christer Edin of Edins Kranar says "In a highly competitive market you must always offer your customer the best solution from an economical as well as a technical point of view."
Edins have major contracts conducting lifting jobs in the city of Stockholm but restrictions from the city council makes it impossible to work with larger cranes in many parts of the city. This is where the slim design and excellent lifting capabilities of the Maeda Mini Cranes come into their own and make it possible to complete jobs in areas previously inaccessible to other cranes.
