July 13, 2009 - PRLog -- Snoring, according to the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) can cause a 300% increase in motor vehicle accidents.  A Mayo Clinic study showed that the spouses of snorers lose up to 15% of their sleep.

Sleep Apnea is a serious condition with tremendous health risks and snoring is often the primary warning sign.

Snoring is not a joke.  Patients with both snoring and sleep apnea can be treated with comfortable oral appliances from sleep apnea dentists.  Oral appliances are an excellent snoring treatment but can also be used as a substitute for CPAP.  This is great for the patients who do not tolerate CPAP.

The National Heart Lung and Blood Institute considers sleep apnea to be a TMJ disorder.
