Dream Heels Printed Shoes
When someone mentions printed high heels, images of Zebra or Leopard print shoes typically come to mind. But now a new website called Dream Heels lets users create shoes featuring any print they can imagine, and earn cash at the same time.
“Dream Heels lets you design printed pumps that are completely unique; Wild patterns, colorful designs, you name it.” says Dream Heels founder and designer Matt Francois. “I’ve designed one-of-a-kind custom shoes for years, and I know that given the chance others will enjoy designing unique shoes as much as I do. The extra cash is just the icing on the cake.”
Aspiring shoe designers can visit the Dream Heels website and download a shoe design template. Artists can then use whatever techniques and software they like to “paint between the lines” on the template and create their printed shoes. Designers can even see what their artwork will look like on a real shoe using a free 3D shoe viewer available on the site. “It really is as easy as coloring between the lines.” says Francois.
Users then submit their design to an ongoing shoe design competition, judged by other artists and members of the site’s online community. Winners are selected regularly, and their designs are made into shoes which are sold worldwide through the Dream Heels store. Winning designers are rewarded with up to $2000, including residuals for each shoe sold.
