Follow on Google News | Starr Tincup employees reclaim their companyThe intern mutiny was brought to a peaceful resolution.
By: Starr Tincup The mutiny, which began on Monday, was a result of no pay and an unfair work environment. It lasted only five days because the interns discovered that they did not have what it takes to run a marketing firm. After a week of chaos in the office, the interns surrendered peacefully and reached an agreement with management. As part of the agreement, the interns will no longer be forced into such humiliating tasks as dressing up as a pickle for Tincup’s son’s birthday party. Nor will they be responsible for cleaning the office and serving food to employees. The interns also managed to negotiate their lunches back and will be able to keep their own food in the future. “We decided they might be a little more productive if they got to eat, so we’re gonna let them keep their food from now on,” says Tincup. Now that the company has been restored to its rightful state a few things are changing. Both William Tincup and Bret Starr have regained access to their various social media accounts which had been hacked by the mutinous interns. In the process of reclaiming the company, they also made some changes to the company website. Visit www.starrtincup.com to see what’s new.
