July 10, 2009 - PRLog -- Even though America's favorite flavor seems to be vanilla, there is no reason to stray from the typical and try something over the top during the month of July. Each Chamber Member Ice Cream Parlor provides a unique experience and will suit every mood. Which one will you visit next?

Most Show Stopping: Something over the top would certainly be Show Place Ice Cream Parlor, serving up singing, dancing and ice cream specialties for crowds of all ages for 35 years. Try the Phantom of the Opera or a Fiddler on the Roof Sundae to go if you cannot stay for a show. ShowPlace is located on Centre Street in Beach Haven next to Surflight Theatre.

Most Huggable: Ice Cream Entertainment comes from Meltdown on 13302  Long Beach Blvd  Beach Haven Terrace which features Character Nights. This long established Monday evening tradition brings families to see the most popular characters for photo ops over soft serve, yogurt or traditional hand dipped delights.

Most Old Fashioned: Looking to connect with an old fashioned ice cream experience? Fantasy Delights located at Fantasy Island Amusement Park, Beach Haven requires no admission fee and offers a perfect summer backdrop amid this Victorian themed park. Grab a float and a seat by the carousel.

Most Flavors: There is no denying that variety is king at Skipper Dipper, 9305 Long Beach Blvd in Peahala Park, with more than 50 soft serve flavors alone, not to mention the dozens of specialties. This has been an ice cream institution since 1978.

Most Continental: Say Ciao to Café Bacio, 1511 Long Beach Blvd in North Beach Haven for some first class Gelato and a European café setting.

Most Funky: Visit the two Ben and Jerry's locations both in Beach Haven one on 600 Bay Avenue and one on 905 North Bay Avenue. Favorite New Flavor Pick for the summer is the Coconut Seven Layer Bar, if you like the bar cookie, you cannot go wrong with this one.

Most Artic: Traditional Shore Ice Cream Stop, you will have a blast at Iceberg Ice Cream on 6105 Long Beach Blvd, Brant Beach

Most Guiltfree :  For a Kosher cone, or a delicious selection of fat free and sugar free varieties, try Aunt Ollies, 7th Street in Surf City.
