The McDonald’s Family Restaurants of Greater Baltimore invite local fashion designers to create a fashion forward outfit inspired by McCafé, McDonald’s newest line of espresso based coffees. Finalists will be invited to attend Baltimore Fashion Week’s Media Party on Friday, July 24th at the Baltimore Museum of Industry, where the winner will be announced. The winning designer must create the outfit for showcase at Baltimore Fashion Week’s opening night, Monday, August 10th.
McCafé is proving to be a sophisticated, yet affordable, daily indulgence for McDonald’s customers around the country. All McCafé Coffees are made with quality ingredients, including fully ripened Arabica coffee beans to ensure consistent, quality-tasting coffee. McDonald’s customers can customize their McCafé Coffees with lattes, iced lattes and cappuccinos available with Caramel, Hazelnut, Vanilla and sugar-free Vanilla syrups for a little daily inspiration.
Designers must be from Carroll, Howard, Anne Arundel, Baltimore City, Baltimore, Harford or Cecil County and email a PDF or JPEG sketch by July 14th, 2009 to mc-café@baltimoresfashionweek.com or by fax to 877.759.4116.
The winner will receive $200 to create the design for Baltimore Fashion Week and a prize of $500 for their design. For more information on McCafé and the competition, as well as official rules, please go to: www.BaltimoresFashionWeek.com.
