GET the chance to step back into a more brutal time this summer at Swansea Museum’s new Crime and Punishment exhibition.
Filled with stories and pictures of the criminals of Swansea from merciless medieval times to the vile Victorian era, the exhibition is designed to send a shiver up and down the strongest of spines.
Get the chance to be part of the era with a trip to the gallows, see how the policemen of long ago dressed as well as the prisoners but beware – you might just get put into the stocks.
Puzzles and games are littered throughout the exhibition so even the smallest visitors can gain something from the experience.
The exhibition is filled with photos, stories, costumes from all over Swansea and offers visitors the chance to really grasp how crime and punishment has changed and developed over the years.
And if you come on Tuesday 28, Wednesday 29 and Friday 31 July and Saturday 1 August and you may get the chance to do art workshops with local artist Rhiannon Williams.
The action starts on July 10th so get yourself down to the museum and see for yourself, it would be a crime to miss out!
