Indianapolis, Indiana – Telework Advocacy announced the members of the 2009 Telework Summit Advisory Committee today. Telework Advocacy is presenting the inaugural National Telework Summit in November. Members of the 2009 Telework Summit Advisory Committee are George Cottman, John Edwards, George Gosieski, Elham Shirazi, Dr. Felix Tan, Rene True and Michael Velotta. These seven individuals will serve as consultants and reviewers for the 2009 National Telework Summit.
The advisors were selected to this prestigious committee based on their wide range of telework knowledge, experience and expertise.
George Cottman – George serves as Senior Director of Complex and National accounts for Comcast Business Services. In this position Mr. Cottman is responsible for sale of Comcast services and solutions, to companies with a national footprint or with unique technical requirements.
John Edwards – John M. H. Edwards is the Founder of the Telework Network and has spent almost two decades dedicated to the Teleworking movement.
George Gosieski – George has more than 27 years of domestic and international experience in the corporate sector with sustainable growth, workplace solutions, change management, process engineering, and program management.
Elham Shirazi – Elham Shirazi is principal of e-planning, based in Los Angeles, California. She sits on the US Association of Commuter Transportation Board of Directors and is the Chair ACT Telework Council. Her firm was responsible for the recent launch and implementation of the Atlanta Telework Project.
Dr. Felix Tan – Started the first ISP in Indiana and built the company into one of the fastest growing tech companies in the country. Founded Officescape in 2000 and built it into a leading office service provider and technology company.
Rene True – Since October 2007, René has served as the Executive Director for the nonprofit organization Connect Kentucky, Kentucky’s technology-based public-private partnership supporting statewide broadband expansion and adoption.
Michael Velotta – Mr. Velotta has more than 15 years experience in network data center and computer server operations. Mr. Velotta founded Lore Internet Systems. In addition, Mr. Velotta is an active member of the Internet community, including the ARIN and Internet Registrars.
