Mssi Recieves Official Letters Patent For “containerized Access Control Unit”

July 9, 2009 - PRLog -- In October of 2008 Modular Security Systems, Inc., MSSI announced that it had received a formal Notice of Allowance from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office on its intellectual property application regarding Access Control Turnstiles used inside of the branded MAC Security Portal.   This Notice of Allowance being issued by the U. S. Patent and Trademark office to MSSI very much emboldened the MSSI management team that other patent filings might also be approved.

In addition to filing for intellectual property rights with the US Patent and Trademark Office MSSI has also filed for patent rights of the MAC Security Portal in many other countries around the world.  The criteria that MSSI used to select which countries to file in was heavily based on natural resource reserves.  MSSI filed patent applications in countries that were known to have large amounts of sought after natural resources and industrial activity.    On July 5th 2009, MSSI was pleased to receive the official Letters Patent for its mobile turnstile unit from the Federal Republic of Nigeria.   This Nigerian Patent which has been issued to Modular Security Systems, Inc (MSSI) is for a term of 20 years, has a filing date of 15 September 2005 and an expiration date of 15 September 2025.
