Is Columbus ready? Free Saturday Bootcamp comes to Grandview!

PR Log (Press Release) – Jul 09, 2009 – Yun Fitness Bootcamps will be offering free Saturday bootcamps to the residents of Grandview and surrounding areas, in anticipation of the opening of their Grandview location.  

Yun Fitness Bootcamps started offering their bootcamps last July and have been growing ever since. The bootcamps offer people a great way to drop body fat and lose weight quickly.  The bootcamp also offers people the change to work with a certified personal trainer at less than a third of the cost of regular personal training.  The methods used in Yun’s fitness Camp in Columbus utilize interval training, which has been scientifically proven to burn up to nine times more fat than regular “cardio” workouts.

Jason Yun, the owner of Yun Fitness Bootcamps, started off last year offering free camps in anticipation of opening his first location in Hilliard. The response was overwhelming and he is hoping the Grandview location will be even more so due to the centralized location of Grandview to Columbus.

The only things campers need to bring with them to camp are a mat and a bottle of water, and be prepared for a muscle building, fat burning workout.  All workouts are completely different each time; you will never know what to expect. After more than 200 workouts since last July, Yun has never repeated a never workout.  There is no need to bring equipment to this Columbus bootcamp because it is completely provided by Yun.  The training tools include, kettlebells, medicine balls, flex bands, sandbags, kegs, sledgehammers, tornado balls, and body weight.

Body Weight exercises are usually the most challenging for the campers, especially the ones who are overweight or have not exercised lately. “Body Weight exercises are some of the best exercises you can do”, Yun states, “People always think that you need fancy gym equipment to get a great workout in. I have literally hundreds of different body weight exercises I can have my bootcampers do at any given time. You can pretty much do them anywhere.  No matter what your fitness level I can make an exercises either extremely difficult or I can find easier variations for beginning trainees.

The free Saturday bootcamps in Grandview will be taking place on July 11, 18, and August 1st. The official launch of the Grandview bootcamp is set for August 3.  All new phases of bootcamp start with a free 2-week tryout that you must make it through in order to be invited to become a part of the Yun Fitness Bootcamp family.
