Originally developed in conjunction with the world’s first hospital based proton therapy center, Loma Linda University Medical Center, Odyssey has grown to be an industry leader in multi-modality radiation treatment planning. Odyssey Version 4.5 will have its public unveiling at the 51st annual American Association of Physicist’s in Medicine (AAPM) trade show being held in Anaheim, CA on June 29th, 2009.
Odyssey’s version 4.5 further enhances the planning system’s capabilities to provide non-proton facilities with state of the art conventional radiation treatment planning. With version 4.5 the Odyssey system improves upon the efficiency of its conventional therapy planning techniques for treatment types such as Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy, Stereotactic Radiosurgery and Virtual Simulation.
