Chart Topping Rock Artist, Merlinmoon, Dedicate Upcoming Performance to Rock Legend Jim Morrison

(Venice Beach, CA) Chart topping rock artist, Merlinmoon, has announced that he will be dedicating his next headlining performance on Thursday, July 9, 2009 at 10 P.M. at the Good Hurt in Venice Beach, California to rock legend Jim Morrison. The lead singer and lyricist of ‘The Doors’ who was considered to be one of the most charismatic frontmen in rock music history also inspired Merlinmoon to write his debut album. Morrison was ranked number forty-seven on Rolling Stone’s “100 Greatest Singers of All Time”.

“I admire Jim Morrison, his life was a big masterpiece,” comments Merlinmoon, “his music was there for me during a time that no one else was, and I owe this concert to him.”

Merlinmoon is re-releasing his “Stoned By Dreams” album where the new deluxe version will have five of the top rated songs re-recorded acoustically. He has also been soaring the MySpace.com charts holding #13 on the Indie Charts for Psychedelic Music in California, #54 for Psychedelic Artists in the United States, and #49 on the Alternative Charts in California. Merlinmoon is also gearing up to record the video for their single “Yesterday is Gone”.
