July 8, 2009 - PRLog -- Virtual Assistants, administrative professionals who provide a myriad of business support services virtually from their home offices, will celebrate the second annual Virtual Assistant High Heels Day on July 9 by slipping into the high heels from their corporate days and raising funds for the March of Dimes, the leading nonprofit organization for pregnancy and baby health. Tawnya Sutherland, founder of VAnetworking.com, a global networking site for Virtual Assistants with over 12,000 members worldwide, was inspired to designate July 9 Virtual Assistant High Heels Day while watching the High Heel-a-thon held by "LIVE! with Regis and Kelly" on July 9, 2008 and remembering a pair of high heels she had never worn still sitting in her closet.

Sutherland, who watches "LIVE! with Regis and Kelly" at the gym daily and credits co-host Kelly Ripa with inspiring her to get her own body back into a healthy form, states, "When I watched the High Heel-a-thon, all I could think of was getting finished with my workout and going home to sport the new heels I bought yet never wear! At the same time I thought of challenging our over 12,000 members to do the same to help raise more donations for the March of Dimes."

On July 9, Virtual Assistants around the world are invited to celebrate the second annual Virtual Assistants High Heel Day with Sutherland and the 12,000 members of VAnetworking by slipping on their high heels and donating to the March of Dimes.
