There is now a Mortgage Protection Program that protects homeowners if they experience a loss of their employment. The program will provide up to six months of mortgage payments if the borrower (or co-borrower)

It gives those that want to buy, but are afraid of what is going on in the economy to purchase, the peace of mind that they need. This allows purchasers to buy now, before the tax credit is no longer available".
Te program covers the buyer up to 24 months from the date of close. There are more specific details in regards to this program, but it will cover up to $1,800 of your mortgage if you qualify. Christa is urging potential home buyers not to stand by while the good deals go. Christa said, "Get in the game. Take advantage of the deals out there and buy yourself a home". This program also works when purchasing investment properties.
