Jehr's haircutting approach: tending a wild garden, English countryside, tiered Cinque Terre or New York City Parks. A global hairstylist specializing exclusively in no maintenance styles for celebrities, executives, doctors, artists, mothers, techies and lawyers. Unlike any haircut, the jehrcut does not require blow drying, hot irons, chemicals or styling products. Since 1977, a "green" hairstylist, using pure water, scissors with comb alone, resulting in chic, effortless, healthy hair for women and men, lasting twice, often longer, those typical intervals between appointments.
Beginning September 11, 2009 through October 10, 2009, all proceeds, 100% of Jehr Schiavo’s service for this fundraising event will benefit New York City Parks.
Three hundred dollar minimum donations per jehrcut. Contributors may donate dollar amounts upwards of required minimum donation.
Jehr invites multiple sponsorship willing to match each contributors donation.
All jehrcuts can be reserved for his private Manhattan studio or the location of a donor’s choosing, with parties ten and more.
Side thought, example: might the Met or MOMA host an evening, hair remnants scattered around Jehr’s cutting chair then donated, creating works of art, a separate, new level of jehrcut.
