The USPF National Powerlifting Championships were held July 3-5 in Orange County, California. At the Championships, four Oxygen4Energy.com sponsored athletes really outperformed!
Arthur Fu, 56 years old and 178 lbs, set new World Records in the Bench Press (374 lbs) and Dead Lift (523 lbs).
Tanya Reed, 46 years old and 174 lbs, set new World Records in all three events: Bench Press (314 lbs), Deadlift (418 lbs), and Squat (380 lbs).
Richard Pinelli Jr, 22 years old and 238 lbs, set new World Records in Bench Press (606 lbs) and Deadlift (655 lbs).
Scott Layman, 145 lbs Open Division competitor, also had a strong performance with a combined weight total of 1547 lbs. (Squat: 600 lbs, Dead Lift: 573 lbs, and Bench Press: 374 lbs)
All of these athletes feel that the oxygen from Oxygen4Energy.com really helped their performances. They all feel that using the oxygen in powerlifting training has helped them get stronger faster by allowing them to train at a higher intensity for longer periods of time and recover faster. These benefits allow them to push themselves to the limit every time they step foot in the gym without the fear of over training.
Our athletes also used the oxygen during the powerlifting competition, where they all agreed that it helped them feel really fresh going into every lift and it helped them fight off the severe fatigue that normally occurs throughout the long day of competition. Feeling just as fresh and strong at the end of the day like at the beginning of the day is a major advantage.
