New President of Basketball Operations, Peter Flournoy, has elected to allow his first large assignment as POB to be decided on by the fans. Flournoy announced the “Name the Franchise” challenge. “The front office has created a new website, scprobasketball.com, where the fans can logon and choose the name of this new franchise.” Flournoy stated.
Peter Flournoy declared that it is crucial for this new franchise to get the fans involved. “This is their team and their city. As a result, they should use the name.” He closed out the webcast by declaring that the fans of South Carolina are going to get the professionalism in a pro-basketball franchise they deserve.
