We’re halfway through 2009 and many Americans are still struggling as much, if not even more so, than they were at the beginning of the year. Why? They’ve been waiting for the economy to be stimulated enough for them to get back to the lives they once knew. That’s clearly not working, which is why Kelly A. Morgan, author of Journey to a Place Called THERE: A Navigation Guide for Creating a Balanced Life, is hosting Stimulate Your Life!

Stimulate Your Life, which will be held on Thursday July 9, 2009 at Mixx Ultra Lounge from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., is designed to be a “breather with a cause” for area residents. During the event, attendees will have a FREE night out on the town to relieve the stress of everyday life. They’ll be able to enjoy light hors d’oeuvres, a live jazz band and a short seminar about how they can begin to take control of their life directly from Morgan. More specifically, Morgan, or “Coach Kelly” as she’s more widely known, will speak about the roles that truth, courage, passion and action play in being the driver on one’s life journey rather than an unwilling or discontented passenger.

“Changes in life, such as those we’re all experiencing in this economy, are inevitable and not always controllable. What can be controlled is how we manage, react to and work through the change process. With Stimulate Your Life, I hope to arm people with a ‘mental strategy of sorts’ that will help them to manage the changes they are experiencing and to help them to focus their energy on getting THERE, which is the life track they desire to be on,” Morgan states.

In addition to the brief seminar, Morgan will be celebrating taking control of her own life; she lost her corporate job abruptly last year but in the last nine months, she’s gotten herself back on track from that forced detour. The evening will also serve as a celebration for the release of her new book and the expansion of her business, all of which came about after she used the same truth, courage, passion and action strategy she’ll share at Stimulate Your Life.
