PRLog (Press Release) –
Jul 07, 2009 – Which little girl hasn’t wished she had a tutu at one point in her life or another? Be it for learning through role play as a ballerina, fairy or princess. Or to wear for a special occasion such as a wedding or party. A tutu should be part of every girl’s childhood. The tutu’s at The Children’s Jewellery Company are (like 95% of the items) handmade, with yards of tulle fabric for a floaty full look. The waist is fully adjustable, and there are 2 sizes available 18mth -3yrs and 3yrs-6yrs. As each item is made to order, the tutu’s can be made in virtually any colour a customer desires, meaning they can be matched to a Wedding theme colour for example.
Harriet McAlonan from The Children’s Jewellery Company tells us how well received they have been “We took the tutu’s to a local show, where they stopped people in their tracks. 2 year olds through to 82 year olds, everyone seemed enchanted with our tutu’s” “I think there is something girly in all of us whatever our age and NOTHING is more girly than a tutu!”
Also part of the new “Lovely accessories”
range at The Children’s Jewellery Company, are the hand crafted handbags. These little bags are a perfect size for girl (or boys), small enough to hold, but big enough to keep toys, snacks, and other important stuff in, just like mums handbag in fact!
Harriet McAlonan again “At our recent photo shoot, one of our mini models was so taken these lovely little bags, she filled it with all the jewellery and hair accessories she had been modelling and refused to put it down. The bag appeared in every one of her photographs, and went home with her at the end of the day” “As these were new products, it was great to see how desirable they were”
The Children’s Jewellery Company has also just updated the website with not only these new products, but many photographs from the recent photo shoot, showing children of all ages in items from the company.
The Children’s Jewellery Company is based in Somerset, selling both online and at selected children’s retail outlets. Harriet McAlonan started the company after struggling to find stylish jewellery for her own children. Having spent 12 years in sales and marketing, and with a background in art and design she has used the skills she has gained in founding and building the company.
