PR Log (Press Release) – Jul 07, 2009 – CLEVELAND - Care Services, Inc., the parent company of two leading national mail order diabetic supply and pharmacy providers, has achieved a 20-year milestone.  What began in 1989 as two medical clinic pharmacies in northeast Ohio has grown into a multi-million dollar family business serving tens of thousands of diabetics nationwide.  

Care Services was founded by Marc Wolf, CEO and RPh.   In 1997, Wolf expanded the pharmacy business with the acquisition of two diabetic supply companies – Diabetic Care Services and Diabetic Express. He merged the pharmacy and diabetic supply businesses in 2002. This expansion gave Care Services the ability to focus on the needs of people with diabetes while expanding delivery nationwide.  

Today, Diabetic Care Services and Diabetic Express are among the nation’s leading mail order durable medical equipment suppliers exclusively dedicated to diabetic supplies and prescription medications.  In 2004, Care Services opened new headquarters in Eastlake, OH.  The 11,000-square-foot facility houses corporate offices, a walk-in pharmacy, patient care representatives, billing representatives, warehousing, shipping and receiving, and a product showroom and meeting rooms.
